We’re running a crowdfunding campaign by offering a limited number of lifetime licenses to accelerate our ongoing work on the next generation of features and improvements coming to Gifox 3 and beyond.

Gifox 3 is already well underway – it will introduce a more sustainable pricing model, but that revenue begins only after launch, while Gifox does not currently generate enough to fund full-time development.

This campaign bridges that gap by letting us spend less time on other paid work and more time finishing Gifox 3, polishing what is already there, and working through the backlog of improvements.

Gifox 3 will be released regardless. What the campaign changes is how quickly we get there and how much momentum we can carry beyond launch. Our initial goal is to raise $50,000 – an amount that would meaningfully change how much time we can dedicate to Gifox.

What does a founding license include?

Every founding license is a personal, one-time purchase that gives you access to Gifox today, Gifox 3 when it launches, and all future core upgrades to Gifox for Mac. It also includes co-founder status, lifetime priority support, and direct contact with our team.

The three licenses differ in the number of personal Macs you can have activated at once and the additional benefits shown on each card. They do not include Teams, cloud or other hosted and usage-based services, separate products, or custom work.

What does co-founder status mean?

Co-founder status is our name for the people who choose to back this campaign. It is not a legal company role and does not provide equity, ownership, voting rights, or control over the roadmap.

Co-founders receive priority support, direct contact with our team, and a stronger voice in where Gifox goes next. This does not guarantee any particular feature or release date.

What will the sticker pack include, and when will it be ready?

The sticker pack will be a physical reward, but its design and contents are still being finalized. Our immediate focus is Gifox 3, so we will complete the pack and confirm delivery details afterwards.

We plan to ship worldwide wherever delivery is available, but there is no fixed date yet.

What are the founding credits, and how will they work?

The Founding Credits will recognize Benefactors who helped fund this campaign, both on this page and inside Gifox.

Taking part will be entirely optional. We will finalize the presentation later, and Benefactors will be able to choose whether their name appears.

Are refunds available for founding licenses?

No. Founding license purchases are non-refundable, so if you are new to Gifox, we recommend trying it before becoming a co-founder.

How long will the crowdfunding campaign run?

There is no fixed end date. The campaign will remain available until further notice or until the stated allocation of founding licenses is claimed.
